- Description: This is a horse that we called "Brumby". I found him unloved, standing in filth and emaciated. The place he was in was quite scary but I knew I had to get him out of there. He stayed with us for several months while he recovered and then went on to a trainer. I wanted to enter this image to raise awareness of neglected horses. Unfortunately there are way too many of them out there. If you see a horse that is being neglected, please call your local animal control office.
