• Description: After having a terrible spring for good sunset pictures, my wife and I noticed that the sun was starting to break through the clouds. We grabbed our camera's and drove about 45 minutes to get this shot of the Vista House on the Columbia River Gorge. As soon as the sun hit the Vista House, it started to rain, creating the rainbow to the right (south) of the Vista House. This picture was taken from the Portland Women's Forum at Crown Point State Park.
• Brief Directions: From Portland, OR, head east on I-84. Take the Corbet exit from I-84 and follow the signs to the Columbia River Highway and Crown Point.
