- Description: Got the chance to shoot Union Station. Security was very cool about the use of tripods after you sign a waiver. Sheriffs on the other hand are a different story. The area that I shot is off limits to enter, but was okay to shoot from where I was standing. The two sheriffs go around me and I see them stop at the corner of my eye. I turn to them thinking, "What?" One of the sheriffs starts asking me if I had permission to shoot here and I said yes, I already talked to security. For some reason he didn't believe me and kept on going that I need permission from the MTA (and if I remember correctly, their website actually gives you permission, but I didn't think about that until after). I again said that I already signed a waiver and had gone to the security office, at the point he asked me where the security office was. I would think he knew where the office was, but anyway,I tell him that it's right out by the entrance and to make a right. I turn around and turn back and I manage to see the sheriff give his partner a weird, "Okay? Wtf?" look/expression is the best way I can describe it and heads to the security office. I start gathering my stuff since I was done with this area and started moving to another and just left since I wasn't being officially detained.
