- Description: This is a photo of a red tailed hawk that I often see on this telephone pole as I drive home from work. I often stop to photograph them. This time I was able to pull up close in my car and get some nice shots and made this image as it took off.
- Brief Directions: Take Rt 17/86 through NY to Elmira. Take elmira chuch street exit and follow church street which becomes Rt 352. Turn right onto Winters Rd.
- Best Season: Summer
- Gear: Nikon D300, Nikon 300mm f4 lense, 1.4 teleconverter
