- Description: While exploring a remote area of Marquette County I was rewarded by a visit from this loon. I was standing on shore watching a pair of loons feeding alon g the lakeshore. It soon became apparent that they would pass right in front of me. By keeping still I was able to photograph this loon as it surfaced just off shore from me.
