- Title: If You Remember
- State/Province/Region (required): Hawaii
- Country (required): United States
- Nearest Area: Waikiki
- Nearest Town: Honolulu
- Description: The title of this picture was inspired by the poem 'Water Lilies' by Sara Teasdale. The poem reads as follows: If you have forgotten water lilies floating On a dark lake among mountains in that afternoon shade, If you have forgotten their wet, sleepy fragrance, Then you can return and not be afraid. But if you remember, then turn away forever To the plains and the prairies where pools are far apart, There you will not come at dusk on closing water lilies, And the shadow of mountains will not fall on your heart.
- Brief Directions: I took this on vacation this summer at the hotel I was staying at. I loved the vivid color of the flower and the reflection of the water.
