  • Description: Utah's Goosenecks State Park is a small park with magnificent and spectacular scenery. The park lies on the north bank of the San Juan River, a tributary of the Colorado, across from the Navajo reservation on the south bank. At this point in its course the San Juan is forced into three sharp bends known as "goosenecks," which are as spectacular as they are deep.
  • Brief Directions: From Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park, take US 163 north through Mexican Hat to the junction of SR 261. Turn left onto SR 261 for about a mile or two to the junction of SR 316. Turn left on SR 316 to the entrance to the park.
  • Best Season: Autumn
  • Gear: Nikon D50, Nikon DX AF Fisheye Nikkor,10.5mm,F2.8
