- Description: Bahrain is located in the Persian Gulf lying next to Saudi Arabia. This is a picture of one of the many old pearl diving boats called Dhows. Many are lying abondoned around the town as the Pearl industry has dried up in Bahrain.
- Brief Directions: Only way is to fly directly into Bahrain or take a ship through the Gulf. Access from Saudi Arabia is possible by the causeway.
- Notes: hot in the summer as you can guess, mostly a sandy desert island
