Buyer's Guide 2008: Papers & Inks

Printing your best images with the latest and greatest in inks and papers

Pantone ColorVANTAGE Inks. Pantone's ColorVANTAGE inks are pigment-based and created by a company that's a well-known authority on color. Designed as substitute ink alternatives for many popular inkjet printers, especially wide-format, ColorVANTAGE inks feature a wide color gamut, rich tones, quick drying and custom profiles.

Media Street Niagara System. Media Street's Niagara Continuous Flow Ink System helps you save money and reduce waste. Compatible with several Epson printers, the Niagara system replaces standard ink cartridges with special cartridges tethered to easily refilled bottles. Choose your ink and you're ready to go.

Crane Museo Portfolio Rag. Designed for use with matte black inks, Crane's Museo Portfolio Rag paper has a smooth surface with warm tones. The 100-percent cotton base is pH-neutral, acid-free and doesn't use brighteners, which means a long shelf life, even on the wall.

Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta 325. This new paper from Hahnemühle features 100-percent alpha cellulose for a smooth and glossy surface. A barium sulphate coating enhances reflective gloss, color range and sharpness. The bright white is particularly ideal for black-and-white prints.
