Description: Lightning streaks across the Chicago skyline and down to strike the top of the Sears Tower during a 2009 summer thunderstorm. This four-second, hand-held exposure was hastily taken as rain fell near the Shedd Aquarium. It was later featured on the WGN-TV 9 News by well-known weather forecaster Tom Skilling.
