Description: Lightning Strike
Brief Directions: As a cold front approached this incredible lightning display was right overhead. I grabbed my gear and set it up in my front yard. I put the camera on manual setting "bulb" and used a shutter release cable while my 50D was mounted on my tripod. I was able to get off about 15 shots with about a 10 sec exposure before capturing this shot. Right after this, the rain started.

Gear: Canon 50D 16-35mm 2.8, shutter cable, carbon tripod
