The monsoon season in Arizona makes for some very impressive storms. This storm is hitting the Catalina Mountains in the distance as a pair of saguaros stays dry...for the moment. The saguaro is the largest cactus, well known for its great height and amazing longevity. One of the highest concentrations of saguaros is located in and around Tucson, Arizona. Saguaro National Park has two locations, both on the outskirts of Tucson. Numerous hiking trails, amazing wildlife, and of course lots of saguaros are located within the park boundaries.
