- Description: This little flower, 1/4 inch diameter, has become a favorite for me. I first found it growing as a weed in the rock border of my garden. I have hunted for it every spring since to get photos, I even bought my macro lens so I could get the close-ups I wanted. The white blur of a strawberry flower is in the background.
- Notes: The plant grows to only six inches tall or so, macro opens a world of wonder, especially in your own backyard.
- Brief Directions: I live in Franklin, just southwest of Milwaukee, in Wisconsin. There is a wetlands preservation area in my backyard where things are left to grow wild. Such a blessing, the weed stuff used on lawns kills this plant.
