Description: These large bricks are the remnants of an old pier. This feature adds an interesting foreground and extra dimension to this view of one of the two iconic bridges, found in San Francisco.
Notes: For this post-sunset image of the Bay Bridge, I wanted to push the envelope as far as possible, and out in the field, as apposed to during post-processing. So I chose a long exposure of 126 seconds to show movement in the clouds, and also to enhance the golden reflections.
Brief Directions: Just off the Embarcadero located on the Wharf in San Francisco, very close to Pier 2.
Gear: Nikon D700 Nikon 18-35mm f3.5 Manfrotto Tripod Giottos Ballhead
