- Description: This shot of my 2006 VW GTI is a composite of 2 images. The background image was taken about 5 years ago with my Nikon D100 and the Car was shot with a Canon 5D MkII. The best part about this image is that the car was illuminated was a flashlight for approximately 5 min in complete darkness. I had to keep my light from exposing the interior or it would have ruined the feel of the image. To find the edges of the car I had to backlight the car with the flashlight around the edges of the body so I knew where to crop the car. Other than the overlay, very little was done to the image. The color and detail were captured in camera.
- Brief Directions: Flashlight exposure of my 2006 VW GTI overlay on a sunset over Las Vegas, NV.
- Best Season: Summer
- Gear: Nikon D100 and Canon 5D MkII using a 24-70 f2.8
