Photo Details
- Title: Zooming Flowers
- State/Province/Region: Connecticut
- Country: United States
- Nearest Town: Hartford
- Description: A "ZOOMING" technique was used to take this picture of red tulips. The Pentax MZ S Film Camera was secured to a tripod and placed approximately 2 feet away from the tulips. The picture was composed with the lens zoomed in on the flowers and the exposure manually set to 1 second. Once the flowers were in focus, the cable release was pressed and the lens was manually "Zoomed Away" from the flowers during the 1 second exposure. The resulting image is a beautiful colorful abstract that shows motion. Pentax MZ S ISO 200 F22 1 sec Velvia Slide Film Slide was scanned and turned into a digital file.
- Best Season: Spring
- Gear: Pentax MZ S Film Camera with Tripod and Cable Release / Velvia Slide Film
