Evening in the Garden of the Gods presents some great photographic opportunities as the warm, golden light falls upon the red sandstone monoliths that populate this park. The sun setting below the Front Range and Pikes Peak to the west of the Garden sidelights the rocks and the trees as one faces north or south thus creating the glow seen in this image. I used the in-camera fill flash to slightly bring out the texture of the twisted juniper trunk on the right.
