Adobe has released two new software upgrades for Photoshop Lightroom 2 (version 2.3) and Camera Raw (version 5.3) as Release Candidates, or community versions they would like tested further by customers before they become updates.

There are two new things in Camera Raw 5.3, including:

1. Newly supported camera models: Nikon D3X and Olympus E-30.
2. Addresses possible artifacts that could appear in Canon EOS 5D Mark II sRAW files.

And for the Lightroom 2.3 Release candidate, quite a few bugs have been fixed, including:

1. In the Windows 64-bit version of Lightroom an sFTP upload process could cause Lightroom to crash.
2. Slideshows could return to the first image randomly during playback.
3. A memory leak could cause Lightroom to crash while attempting to process files with local adjustments.
4. Canon EOS 5D Mk II sRAW files could process with artifacts in Lightroom 2.2.
5. Lightroom 2.2 could cause disc burning to fail for Windows customers.

User feedback for these two updates can added to the Adobe User to User forum.
