New 14-54mm ƒ/2.8-3.5 II Zoom
Olympus introduced a new Zuiko 14-54mm ƒ/2.8-3.5 II zoom with the E-30, which will serve as the kit lens and works with the new high-speed imager AF Live View feature. Equivalent to a 28-108mm lens on a 35mm camera, the new zoom is splash- and dustproof (although, ironically, the E-30 isn’t), and features a circular aperture for more pleasing backgrounds in selective-focus shots.
