Canon’s EOS Rebel line of SLRs have been top sellers since the original 35mm EOS Rebel was introduced in 1990. The EOS Digital Rebel, which appeared 13 years later, was the first D-SLR to sell for under $1,000. The latest member of the EOS Rebel family, the 15.1-megapixel Rebel T1i, sells for about $899 with an 18-55mm lens, and features ISOs to 12,800, a 3.0-inch, 920,000-dot Live View LCD monitor and full 1080 HD video capability. We expect it will be another best seller.

Canon T1I
Bought this camera a week or so ago. Have loved film photography since I was a kid. I was hesitant getting into digital, Can't be as good as film. Boy was I wrong. If this is considered an entry level camera I can't imagine what the more expensive models can do. I have been having such fun with this camera/photo/video studio. I highly recommend it to those just starting out in photography as well as those going from film to digital. Nice job Canon!!
