Sony's fourth generation entry-level mirrorless camera, the NEX-3N combines the excellent image quality of a 16.1-megapixel Sony Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor with the same adaptive noise-reduction technology as the flagship SLT-A99. Handheld Twilight mode rapidly records six images, and combines the data to produce one low-noise image. Anti-Motion Blur mode combines data from six rapidly recorded images to produce a single motion that minimizes subject blur.
Contrast-based AF with 25 AF points is supplemented by manual focusing with focus peaking. The NEX-3N also includes Sweep Panorama, Auto HDR and 15 Picture Effects. Capture 1080 full HD video at 60i or 24p, with stereo sound via built-in microphone. The top still-image shooting rate is 2.5 fps with focus for each shot, and 4 fps with focus locked.
