Coke And A Smile…..

A 1940’s coke machine. This shot was taken on the way to Lubbock, Texas from Austin. I found this old machine on the porch of a landscaping company. When I asked the owner if I could take a picture of it he thought I was nutty. He did tell me the bottles that are there have been there for over 30 years. The texture of the rusted machine and the sharp contrast generated by the Texas sun and the sharp shade and corner the machine was in is what caught my eye. This image hangs in my house. It is one of my favorite B&W images
